A man once posed this question to me: If you lined up a computer, a robot, a 747 Jet and a lowly worm, which one would a scientist say is the most intricately designed of those four?
I thought it would be the worm. He told me that I was right, and that is also what scientists say. When you examine the function of a digestive system or any least physical system, you begin to appreciate the highly ordered inner workings of that system.
We know for a fact that the computer had a creator and designer; we know the robot had a creator and designer; we know the 747 had a creator and designer; but somehow we think the worm happened by luck and by chance over time? That just doesn't make sense.
If the inanimate objects needed a creator and a designer, not only would the complex, living, self- replicating worm have to have had a creator and designer, but it would have had to have had a much Greater Creator and Designer than those three inanimate objects.
And if this is true
even of the "simple"
worm, imagine what
it would take for
something as amazingly
complex as the human brain to form.
Even Carl Sagan admits:
The information content of the human brain expressed in bits is probably comparable to the total number of connections among neurons - about a hundred trillion, 1014 bits. If written out in English, that information would fill some twenty million volumes - as many as the world's largest libraries. The equivalent of twenty million books is inside the head of every one of us. The brain is a very big place in a very small space ... The neurochemistry of the brain is astonishingly busy, the circuitry of a machine more wonderful than any devised by humans.
If humans cannot devise something as astonishing as the brain, Who can and Who did?
World- renowned crusader for Darwinism, Professor Richard Dawkins states:
We have seen that living things are too improbable and too beautifully "designed " to have come into existence by chance.
Irreducible Complexity
Biochemist Dr. Michael Behe, who argues that evolution could never have given rise to the intricate structures of life , has identified something he calls "irreducible complexity."
This refers to an organism which is so complex that it could not have come together piece by piece and still function ; all the parts must have come about at once in order to have any function at all. Behe explains:
By "irreducible complex" I mean a single system composed of several well-matched, interacting parts that contribute to the basic function , wherein the removal of any one of the parts causes the system to effectively cease functioning.
An irreducibly complex system cannot be produced directly (that is, by continuously improving the initial function, which continues to work by the same mechanism ) by slight, successive modifications of a precursor system, because any precursor to an irreducibly complex system that is missing a part is by definition nonfunctional....
Since natural selection can only choose systems that are already working, then if a biological system cannot be produced gradually it would have to arise as an integrated unit, in one fell swoop, for natural selection to have anything to act on.
He cites the simple mousetrap as an example. All the pieces must be present at one time in order for it to function. A piece of wood won't catch mouse. A piece of wood and a spring won't catch a mouse. A piece of wood, a spring and a hinge won't catch a mouse. All the parts must be present, and arranged correctly, in order for the mousetrap to function. The same would be true for any irreducibly complex system.
For instance, the knee joint consists of at least 16 essential characteristics, each requiring thousands of pieces of information to
exist simultaneously in the genetic code . Therefore, the knee could not have evolved gradually but must have been created all at once as a whole fully functioning joint.
Amazingly Charles Darwin himself admitted that an idea such as "irreducible complexity," if proven true, would demolish his theory. In The Origin OF Species he wrote:
If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications , my theory would absolutely break down.
Darwin, as quoted in the beginning of this chapter, said he had a most difficult time with the human eye. He admitted that it would be "absurd in the highest degree" to claim that the eye with all its amazing complexity, could have evolved.

Hello Folks,
Wednesday 24th May - Ruth has had to go to town. I woke up feeling pretty awful but it has now passed. I worked on my blog copying evolution posts. I did five and a half pages on Samsung
S Note.
25th May - eyes are bad again. Give them the cucumber treatment in late evening.
Today 26th is Jeff's birthday. I have made him a birthday card and it is ready to post. The bruise on my arm has faded some more but the worrisome lump is still there slap bang right in the middle of it.
More cucumber treatment for my eyes. They are feeling a lot better. Today I must transfer data from my tablet as storage space is almost full. It is also shower day, for which I need all my strength.
I also read about Penny's car accident on "whatsapp" it happened yesterday but fortunately was not too serious. She suffered whiplash and a back injury and needs bed rest and physio.
30th May - Bruise on my arm has gone - slight lump is all that is left.
Thursday, 1st June, Ruth does our monthly shopping - she seems to be a lot better these last few days.
Friday 2nd June I send out Bible verses to all my "Whatsapp" friends wishing them all a wonderful day - this includes Andy and I get an answer back that he has been retrenched. What a shock. I never expected something like this.
"I will not fear evil tidings because my heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord." Psalm 112:7
Andy has a job interview lined up for this afternoon. Every time I feel anxious I say the above verse over and over again. I refuse to accept negativity in my mind. I refuse to allow the "what ifs" to take over.
No matter what happens God is in control. He has proved that to me over and over again.

Grave Robbing
As Robinson continued his investigation, he began to examine the motives of Jesus' followers. Maybe the supposed resurrection was actually a stolen body. But if so, how does one account for all the reported appearance of a resurrected Jesus?
Historian Paul Johnson, in A History of the Jews, wrote: "What mattered was not the circumstances of His death but that he was widely an obstinately believed, by an expanding circle of people, to have risen again.
The tomb was indeed empty. But it wasn't the mere absence of a body that could have galvanized Jesus' followers (especially if they were the ones who had stolen it). Something extraordinary must have happened, for the followers of Jesus ceased mourning, ceased hiding, and began fearlessly proclaiming that they had seen Jesus alive.
Each eyewitness accounts reports that Jesus suddenly appeared bodily to his followers. The women first. Morison wondered why conspirators would make women central to its plot. In the first century women virtually had no rights, person hood or status. If the plot were to succeed, Morison reasoned, the conspirators would have portrayed men, not women, as the first to see Jesus alive. And yet we hear that the women touched Him, spoke with Him and were the first to find the empty tomb.
Later, according to eyewitness accounts, all the disciples saw Jesus on more than ten separate occasions. They wrote that He showed them His hands and His feet and told them to touch Him. And He reportedly ate with them and later He appeared alive to more than 500 of them on one occasion.
Legal scholar John Warwick Montgomery stated:
"In 56 AD. (the apostle Paul wrote that over 500 people had seen the risen Jesus and that most of them were still alive) 1st Corinthians 15:6. It passes the bounds of credibility that the early Christians could have manufactured such a tale and then preached it among those who might easily have refuted it, simply by producing the body of Jesus."
Bible scholars, Geisler
and Turek agree. "If the
Resurrection had not

the Apostle Paul give
such a list of supposed
eyewitnesses? He would
immediately lose all credibility
with his Corinthian readers by
lying so blatantly."
Peter told a crowd in Caesarea why he and the other disciples were so convinced that Jesus was alive.
"We apostles are witnesses to all He did throughout Israel and in Jerusalem. They put Him to death by crucifying Him, but God raised Him to life three days later..... We were those who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead." (Acts 10:39-41)
British Bible scholar Michael Green remarked, "the appearances of Jesus are as well authenticated as anything in antiquity.... There
can be no rational doubt that they occurred."

Dr Colin Patterson, director of the British Museum of Natural History, and highly respected evolutionist, wrote a book about evolution. When asked why his book didn't include any illustrations of transitional fossils, Dr Patterson who has seven million in his museum replied:
I fully agree with your comments on the lack of direct illustration of evolutionary transitions in my book. If I knew of any, fossils or living , I certainly would have included it.... I will lay it on the line. There is not one such fossil for which one might make a watertight argument.
Niles Eldridge, a leading expert in vertebrate fossils, decided to honestly weigh the evidence. Here is his conclusion:
No wonder paleontologists shied away from evolution for so long. It never seems to happen. Assiduous collecting up cliff faces yield zigzags, minor oscillations, and very occasional slight accumulation of change - over millions of years, at a rate too slow to account for all the prodigious change that has occurred in evolutionary history. When we do see the introduction of evolutionary novelty, it usually shows up with a bang, and often with no firm evidence that the fossils did not evolve elsewhere! Evolution cannot forever be going on somewhere else. Yet that's how the fossil record has struck many a forlorn paleontologist looking to learn something about evolution.
Wow! What a couple of statements:
they just said there is no evidence to back up the theory of evolution.
So after doing a bit of research to discover the truth, "I did learn something about evolution."
I learned that the evidence just isn't there to put my faith in. How about you?
Probability
As we have already seen,
the Law of Biogenesis
proves that evolution is not possible. And the complete lack of fossil evidence supports that conclusion.
Another fact that led me to reject evolution was the Law of Probability, which also shows the impossibility of life rising from non-life.
According to the Distinguished British astronomer Sir Frederick Hoyle, the number of trial assemblies of amino acids needed to give rise to the enzymes required for life , and their discovery from random shuffling, turns out to be less than 1 in 1 x 1040 000, Just to give you an idea how astronomical this number is one trillion is only 1012. And it is estimated that there are only
1080 electrons in the entire universe! So, 1040 000 of anything is almost impossible even to imagine.
Mathematicians say that any event in which the chances are beyond one in 1050 is impossible - it is an event that we can state with certainty will never happen, no matter how much time is allotted and no matter how many conceivable opportunities could exist for the event to take place.
Recall that Hoyle said the probability of an enzyme arising spontaneously was less than one in 1040 000 - which is an incredibly lesser probability than the one in 1050 that makes an event impossible.
Dr Harold Morowitz, former professor of biophysics at Yale University, estimated that the probability for the chance formation of the smallest, simplest form of a living organism known is one chance in 10340 000 000.
And the famous astronomer
and evolutionist,Carl Sagan, estimated that the chance of life evolving on any single
planet, including Earth, is one chance
in 102 000 000 000 .
Do you realize how huge that number is? It would take 6000 books with 300 pages each just to write this number out. So if ever anything were impossible, spontaneous generation would have to be it.
According to the Law of Probability then, the odds of life rising from non-life are far beyond the realm of possibility. And that is just for a single molecule to come to life. How would you explain the complexity of life forms, or the formation of the extremely detailed DNA code?
Human DNA, for example contains three billion pieces of information - literally tens of thousands of pages worth. Did that information develop and evolve one page at a time?
How could random undirected, random chance have created complex information such as this?
It boggles the mind to think about it. It certainly does not indicate chance, but rather design.

The Matter Of An Empty Tomb
No serious historian really doubts Jesus was dead when He was taken down from the cross. However,
many have questioned how Jesus' body disappeared from the tomb. English journalist
Dr Frank Morison initially thought the resurrection was either a myth or a hoax and began research to write a book refuting it. The book became famous but for reasons other than its original intent.
Morison began by attempting to solve the mystery of the empty tomb. The tomb belonged to a member of the Sanhedrin Council, Joseph of Arimathea.
In Israel at that time, to be on the council was to be a rock star. Everyone knew who was on the council. Joseph must have been a real person. Otherwise the Jewish leaders would have exposed the story as a fraud in their attempt to disprove the resurrection.
Also, Joseph's tomb would have been at a well-known location and easily identifiable, so any thoughts of Jesus being "lost in the graveyard" would need to be dismissed.
Morison wondered why Jesus' enemies would have allowed the "empty tomb myth" to persist if it weren't true. The discovery of Jesus' body would have instantly killed the entire plot.
And what is known historically
of Jesus' enemies is that they
accused Jesus' disciples of
stealing the body, an
accusation clearly predicated
on a shared belief that the
tomb was empty.
Dr Paul L Maier, professor of ancient history at Western Michigan University similarly stated, "if all the evidence is weighed carefully and fairly, it is indeed justifiable ....... to conclude that the tomb in which Jesus was buried was actually empty on the morning of the first Easter. And no shred of evidence has yet been discovered ... that would disprove this statement.
The Jewish leaders were stunned. They accused Jesus' disciples of stealing Jesus' body. But the Romans had assigned a 24-hour watch at the tomb with a trained guard unit (from 4 to 16 soldiers).
Josh McDowell notes that these were not ordinary soldiers. When that guard unit failed in its duty - if they fell asleep, left their position, or failed in any way, - there are a number of historical sources that go back and describe what happens. Many of them are stripped of their own clothes, they are burned alive in a fire started with their own garments or they are crucified upside down. The Roman Guard was committed to discipline and they feared failure in any way.
It would have been impossible to have slipped by the Roman guards and to have moved a two-ton stone. Yet the stone was moved away and the body of Jesus was missing.
If Jesus' body was anywhere to be found, His enemies would have quickly exposed the resurrection as a fraud. Tom Anderson, former president of the California Trial Lawyers Association summarized the strength of this argument:
" With an event so well publicized, don't you think that at least one historian, one eye-witness, one antagonist would record for all time that he had seen Christ's body? The silence of history is deafening when it comes to the testimony against the resurrection.
So, with no body of evidence and with a known tomb clearly empty, Morison accepted the evidence as solid that Jesus' body had somehow disappeared from the tomb.

The Missing Link
And that leads us to the pinnacle of transitional forms - the missing link between ape and man.
If humans evolved from apes the fossil record should reveal a multitude of transitional forms. And because humans are said to have evolved relatively recently, the fossils would have had less time to decay and should therefore be plentiful.
So what have scientists found ? Nebraska Man, Piltdown man, Java Man, Peking Man, Neanderthal Man, and Lucy are all supposed to be "missing links." But did you know that every single one of these has been disproved scientifically? Yet they were all included in my school books, and though scientifically disproved - many can be seen in text books today!
Let's take a look at the evidence.
Nebraska Man was created from a single tooth discovered in Nebraska. Based on only one tooth (and a lot of imagination) Nebraska man was sketched complete with a skull, skeleton, tools, and even a family. The only problem was that Nebraska man was found to have come from an extinct pig!
Piltdown Man has been to have been a deliberate hoax. The skull fragment actually came from a modern human, and the jawbone portion and two teeth were from an orangutan. The teeth had been filed down to make them look human, and the bones and teeth had been stained to give them the appearance of being ancient. The entire "discovery" was forged from the outset to fool people who would not search for the truth.
Java Man was constructed
from widely scattered
bones - a skull-cap and femur
found far apart in a gravel
deposit. They were actually
unrelated parts of a human
being and a giant gibbon.
Peking Man was based on
monkey-like skulls that were bashed in at the back. Because they were found with various animal bones and tools, it was assumed that these "tool using apes" were man's ancestors. Instead, it was discovered that these animals were man's meal and the tools were used on them rather than by them.
Neanderthal Man was determined to be completely human - just plain, modern people with a well-developed culture, art and religion, but who suffered from dietary deficiencies.
Lucy could not be a "missing link" because it has been determined man walked upright before the time of Lucy.
The "missing link" is still missing - and will forever remain missing because the rule holds for humans as well as for all other life forms. There are no transitional forms. Everything appears in the fossil record suddenly and perfectly formed.
Again, while there is plenty of evidence for microevolution (adaptation within a species) , macroevolution - the supposed development of one species into another - has no evidence to support it. None. Scientists have found no transitional fossils and no missing links.
