AWESOME GOD - THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA
In God's Word, the Bible, God identifies Himself as the Alpha and the Omega.
Alpha is the first letter in the Greek alphabet and Omega is the last letter. In other words God is the beginning and the end.
ALPHA
God has existed for trillions upon trillions of years. He never had a beginning.
"From everlasting to everlasting He is God."
Psalms 90:2
OMEGA
God is a never ending Omega for everyone. He is either a fountain of eternal life or He is a wine press of wrath and a lake of fire.
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, "Who is and Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty."
Revelation 1:8
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
Revelation 22:13
"Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts, ' I am the first and the last, and there is no God before Me. ' "
Isaiah 44:6
"Listen to me O Jacob, even Israel whom I have called, I am He, I am the first and I am also the last."
Isaiah 48:12
Since everything comes from God and nothing will outlast Him, God has the first word and the last word in history.
God's Wisdom, Power, Strength, Love, Righteousness, Truth, Goodness and Loving Kindness are all eternal. God did not emerge out of many possibilities, everything emerged out of Him.
"In Him we live and move and have our being."
Acts 17:28
"And he is before all things and by Him all things consist."
Colossians 1:17
"Then He said to me, 'It is done, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts, from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things and I will be his God and he shall be my son."
Revelation 21: 6-7
"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, the murderers, the fornicators, sorcerers, idolators, and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. "
When God says that He will give water from the fountain of life to those who are thirsty, He does not mean that everyone who would like to avoid hell and live forever will be saved - because everyone would like that. God means everyone whose soul really and truly thirsts for Him and not for the power and the pleasures of this world Will receive this water.
"When I saw Him, I fell at His feet, like a dead man, and He placed His right hand on me saying, 'Do not be afraid, I am the first and the last, and the Living One, I was dead and behold I am alive forevermore and I have the keys of death and of hades."
Revelation 1: 17-18
Life in this world is a very serious matter because what you make of God here, will determine how you meet Him in the end.
Pray that God will open our eyes to see the staggering alternatives before we reach the brink of eternity.
"Be faithful unto death and I will give you a crown of life."

problems with my eyes, visiting the eye specialist, treating and resting them it was beyond my control.
