                                          The law of the Lord 
   is perfect

HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED THE AWESOMENESS OF OUR ALMIGHTY GOD.?

Did you know that there are no words in any language on this earth that can adequately describe the Beauty, the Majesty, the Power, and the Awesomeness  of our Almighty God?

Have you ever, considered how great and awesome He really is?   

I think that I have always known that He is Powerful and Mighty and that nothing is impossible for Him to do, but I never actually sat down and tried to put all the facts together.

So here goes, I have spent the past week doing some serious research and here are some of my findings:


"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord."
Revelation 4:8

For the Lord your God is God over all gods and Lord of Lords, a Great God, the Mighty and the Awesome God, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh a bribe.
Deuteronomy  10:17


I think we all know that He is Omnipotent, in other words He is All Powerful:  He can do anything that is consistent with the perfection of His being, but there are some things which God cannot do: God cannot do anything that is contrary to His nature: for example:
God cannot lie, God cannot break His promises,
God cannot change, God cannot change His mind,
God cannot die, God cannot abide sin, God cannot be tempted or deny Himself etc.

OMNIPOTENT

"Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for Me?"
Jeremiah 32:27

Great is our God and abundant in Power. His understanding is above measure.
Psalm 147:5

For His invisible attributes, namely His eternal Power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made, so they are without excuse.
Romans 1:20

But Jesus looked at them and said, "with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Matthew 29:26

"For nothing will be impossible with God."
Luke 1:37

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, Who formed you from the womb, "I am the Lord Who made all things, Who alone stretched out the heavens, Who spread out the earth by Myself."
Isaiah  44:24

It is He Who made the earth by His  power, Who established the world by His wisdom, and by His understanding stretched out the heavens.
Jeremiah  10:12

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the Word of His power. After making purification for sins He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Hebrews 1:3

And what is the immeasurable greatness of His power towards us who believe, according to the working of His great might that He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead.
Ephesians 1:19

"See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no other God beside Me. I kill and I make alive, I wound and I heal, and there is none that can deliver out of My hand."
Deuteronomy 32:39

"Also henceforth I am He, there is none that can deliver from My hand. I work and who can turn it back?"
Isaiah 43;13

All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand, or say to Him  "what have You done?"
Daniel 4:35

As it is written, "I have made you the father of many nations," in the presence of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things which do not exist.
Romans 4:17

For behold He Who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, Who makes the morning darkness and treads on the heights of the earth - The Lord, the God of hosts is His Name.
Amos 4:13

And He said "Abba Father, all things are possible for You. Remove this cup from Me. Yet no what I will, but what You will."

"The Almighty, we cannot find Him. He is great in power, justice and abundant righteousness, He will not violate."

"The Spirit of God has made me and the breath of the Almighty gives me life."

I AM A UNIQUE HUMAN BEING - I HAVE BEEN " BORN AGAIN

Hello friends, I am now beginning to see myself in my true spiritual identity.

I am a child of God, my heavenly Father has adopted me into His family. Because Jesus died and rose again from the dead, my heavenly Father has  adopted me into His family. 

He has moved me out of darkness into the light of His Kingdom. His protective shield is around me and He is providing for every need that I may have.

"My God shall supply all my needs, according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.'

Phil: 4:19

I am a daughter of God. He has filled me with His Holy Spirit, so I am dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ , strong and powerful in Him.

The Holy Spirit has come to live in me while I am on this planet. He has come  to help me, comfort me, guide me and teach me in every aspect of my life.

Whatever I need in my life, He has promised to give me.  He has made me many promises, all I need to do is to believe them. 

"Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all.
The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, 
but in everything by prayer and supplication 
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." 
Phil: 4:9


 "And finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is  pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent, or praiseworthy, think about such things." 

Whatever you have learned or received from me, or seen in me, put into practice and the God of peace will be with you."

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His Holy Name."
Psalm 103:1

I will worship Him  as long as I live. I will praise Him, I will exalt His Name forever.

TWENTY SIXTEEN - PART FIVE

    18TH JANUARY

Did my Bible verses on Pinterest - time changed because of inability to access internet - used to do it at night now do it in the morning.

Still unable to work on my blog.

Hip and right leg very sore today. Whatsapped Daniel.

Checked ginger beer - fizzing nicely, had to release gas twice, 3pm and 8pm. Put in fridge even though I had hoped to wait longer, but fizzing was too strong. Afraid of bottles exploding.

19th  -  Woke up early - 7am . Did my Bible verses on Pinterest plus pinned some other pins.

Slept most of the day - very tired and don't have much energy.

The back door key has broken off in the lock. Andre has promised to fix it tomorrow. Worked on blog tonight. Found my toolbar and message was no longer garbled.  Managed to do a post on fireworks.

20th -  Slept late. Sally attacked Vlooi again, for no apparent reason. I was far away at the other end of the lounge and Ruth was in her room sitting at her laptop. Usual story to separate them, got a few nicks and scratches.

Andre sent a guy with a new lock and keys, but he had no idea how to remove the old one. Said he would come back later but never did.

Late afternoon Ruth and Amanda worked on the lock. I don't  know what they did, but after praying about it they managed to fixed it without removing the old lock.

21st January - Woke at 10am

Had been awake at 3am due to itching legs and feet. Hives again. Took an allergex and massaged with coconut oil managed to go back to sleep.

Steve phoned hearing aid is ready Ruth made an appointment with Dr van der Merwe for Tuesday next week - 28th January.

Worked on transferring data to laptop from tablet - just over an hour.

keeping mind renewed - no negative thoughts allowed - trusting in God alone.

MY FAVOURITE PSALMS - PART FOUR -I am reposting this because I found a sentence missing in the original

 With the merciful, O Lord,

TWENTY SIXTEEN - PART FOUR

Wished Ryan a happy birthday. Told him about my blogging problems - he said not to worry he will sort it out.

Running out of petrol for generator - too many power cuts - generator ran all night and we also had lots of other power cuts over past few days. We must have petrol or we lose all our frozen food. Ruth has gone to town today instead of tomorrow, to try and sell my diamond ring.

Ruth phoned from town at approximately 1pm - Jeweller only wants to pay R1000  - we need at least R1200. Cash Crusaders will give us R2300 against gold earrings, silver chain and diamond ring and to reclaim them we must pay R2800 - we feel we have no other option. We will reclaim next week when we get paid for gold coins.

EXPENSIVE LESSON

We panicked for nothing. The power did not go off again today - Coin shop also paid coin money into our bank account soon  after Ruth had done the Cash Crusaders transaction. We would been okay if we had trusted God. He had been telling us all along that we must "wait on Him."  Because we did not listen we have lost R500 in interest on a few hours loan. If we had just waited everything would have turned out fine.

15th January - Forgot to write this page - probably because I lost contact with the internet, although I do not need it to work on this section of my blog.  

Came back to it on Sunday night at 10.53pm and tried again. I remember working on my tablet when it suddenly shut down - it had never done this before (it usually tells me when I am running out of data) so I was a bit surprised, but as the data was a little  low I thought that that was what had happened.

I bought 2GB data even though on the 1st of every month I get 1GB, I would now  have 3GB to get me through till the 14th February. I was rather annoyed that after doing this I was still unable to access the internet, but thought it might be a problem on Vodacom's side so  I patiently waited.  I did try again a few times to no avail. The following day (Saturday) I had access to Facebook and my E-mails but that was all.

I am learning to "wait upon the Lord."

16th January - Made ginger syrup for my ginger beer. hung liver strips in biltong maker for dogs.

washed dishes a few times, cooked liver for dogs, body very sore, took pain killer.

Slept most of the day.

Harry has two sores just above his left hind leg (looks like boils) they already have yellow heads. He cannot keep his tongue off them.

Prayed for him.

Very tired toay.

Still unable to access internet, therefore unable to pin my Bible verses on Pinterest.

Waiting patiently.

17th January - Ruth took my tablet to Vodacom after church and they did "something" to the sim card. Rebooted or something like that. I am now able to access the internet.

Spent the day mostly resting.  Made a new batch of ginger beer.

The heavens are telling the glory of God

work of His hands
Day to day pours forth speech
and night to night reveals knowledge.

There is no speech, nor are there words
their voice is not heard
their line has gone out through all the earth
and their utterances to the end of the world
in them He has placed a tent for the sun
which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber
It rejoices as a strong man to run his course
Its rising is from the one end of the heavens
and its circuit to the other end
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
