RECIPE TIME - FRENCH TOAST
FRENCH TOAST
9 eggs
quarter cup milk
7 slices of bread
(cut in halves)
salt and pepper
oil for frying
jam, honey, or
syrup

Beat the egg, milk, salt and pepper together.
Put as many pieces of the bread into the egg mixture as your pan will hold.
Heat the pan and add a little bit of oil. When bread is well soaked with egg place in pan and fry, you will need a spatula to transfer the soaked bread.
Once you have transferred the soaked bread to the pan, put the same amount of bread as previously into the egg mixture, so that it is ready to fry when the first lot is done.
Fry on both sides until light golden brown, not too quickly or it will be raw in the middle. Serve with jam, honey or syrup
Do not soak all of the bread at the same time or it will disintegrate before you can get it into the pan.
