TWENTY SEVENTEEN - PART SIX

                                       TWENTY SEVENTEEN                     - PART SIX

   Hello folks,

   I have  had a bad
   night. Hives attacks
  all through the night.

Usually I only have one and on rare occasions I might have two, but this goes on all night almost hourly. I just get settled and there is another one.

What also makes it worse is that warfarin treatment does not collaborate with antihistamines. But it is so bad I am forced to take an "allergex" which I am convinced has just made it worse.  It goes on until 5am, on Friday 27th.

Charmaine arrives for work , I feel so sorry for her, and  wonder how she will ever sort the mess out. Ruth goes to town and Charmaine carries on with her work.  That girl really knows her stuff.  Today she worked two hours over her time but when she left the place was transformed. It is now almost comfortable although we still do not know where half of our things are. She also fetched the biltong machine and the clock.

Ruth brings pizza for us to eat.  DSTV office  phones - they have been held up due to the rain and can only come tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am. Andy is also coming at 10am with built in cupboards.  Ruth and I will pick Danny up on our way back from blood test.

Saturday 28th  go for               blood tests, pick Danny  up and DSTV guy arrives as   planned.  Paid for by our friend.  Charmaine arrives earlier but not much for her to do as we are waiting for Andy with the cupboards.  He gets hopelessly lost; and only arrives at 1pm instead of 10am.

While waiting Danny and I prepare buns with cold meat, lettuce and tomato but we don't eat as we are waiting for Andy.  Andy phones he is now stuck in a ditch on the sand road.  Danny walks there to see if he can help.

Eventually let Charmaine go as cupboards will not be finished today

It has been raining for days now and today is no exception, so we cannot put the dogs in the small enclosed area. We have to keep them  inside and do not have enough leashes. Have to use improvised harnesses.  It is extremely difficult to keep them under control and the guys have to have the double door open which leads to the open area where the dogs are at risk of the Botha's dogs.  It is extremely uncomfortable.

They do not have enough time to finish and will come back again tomorrow.

No matter what happens we must learn to be content, safe in the knowledge that God is in control and always will be.

Next post  14th May
