Here's how Josh McDowell spoke 
of faith in Jesus:

Christianity is the largest religion in the 
world, but there is something very distinct 
about it. It is a religion in one sense, but it is 
all about one person.  If there was no Joseph Smith, Mormonism would still be here. If there was no Buddha, Buddhism would still be here, because so many have claimed to be Buddha.  
But if there was no Jesus there would be no Christianity. The religion would be extinct. 

With no Jesus Who walked and talked, and was
crucified and rose from the dead, there would
be no Christianity. It all comes down to the 
Son of God, Jesus. The question now is, What
are you going to do with Him?

I once heard a guy say:

"Imagine that we are in a deep pit of sin, there
is no way to climb out of this pit. Someone
throws you down a ladder. There are ten steps
on the ladder. You try to climb up, but each step
is One of the Ten Commandments, and the rule
is you can't place your foot on One of the
Commandments that you have broken. There 
is no way out of the pit. You are stuck.

 All of a sudden Jesus jumps in and if you want, He will put you on His back. And He steps out 
of the pit, stepping on each step, as the Perfect,
Sinless Saviour , Who carries you out of the pit."

Do you want Jesus
to carry you out of       
the pit of sin and
death ? 

The mystery of  eternal
truth has been solved. 
Now you must decide what you want to do 
about it.
